Close Out The Year With Purpose and Intention

I am spilling the beans on what I do the week between Christmas and the New Year and how you can practice these same rituals so they

Benefit YOU.

During the week between Christmas and New Year's, I practice a few rituals that fill me with gratitude and allow me to enter the new year feeling light, organized, and with absolute clarity.

My End-of-Year Rituals and Self-Reflection Lists allow me to marvel at the past year's blessings, the hurdles and hardships I overcame, personal growth, and clarity on where I want to go next. I'm sharing these rituals and lists with you now - hoping they will benefit you, too.

Below are my rituals and self-reflecting lists.

2 RITUALS:

#1 — CLEAN OUT  (to feel lighter and organized)

I clean out my closet and donate things I don't need.

I clean out my email inbox.

I clean out my car, desk, and office space, and if I'm *really* feeling it, I'll clean out every closet, dresser, cabinet, drawer, and space in my home.

I clean out my social media (unfollow accounts I no longer benefit from).

#2 — WRITE THANK YOU'S (to show love and gratitude)

I hand-write thank-you notes to everyone who positively impacted me in a massive way in the past 12 months. I want them to know I appreciate them.

5 SELF-REFLECTIVE LISTS:

#1 — HIGHLIGHTS  - list the year's Highlights (wins, accomplishments, special moments). To help your memory, look back at your calendar, journal, pictures, etc.

#2 — HARDSHIPS - list the year's Hardships (struggles and losses)

#3 — GROWTH + LEARNINGS - list your personal growth, the lessons you learned, and what you learned about yourself

#4 — WHERE YOU ARE NOW IN LIFE - describe in a brief overview where you are right now in life - where you are, who you are, how you are, and what you have that is meaningful to you (not where you want to be or what you want to do or who you want to be, but where you are RIGHT NOW). This allows you to take an honest inventory and gain clarity. You can break it down into categories if you'd like: (health, emotions, relationships, time spent, career/mission, finances, contribution, mental health, spirituality).

#5 — INTOLERANCES - list the things you will no longer tolerate in your life (ill health, being broke, remaining a victim, unhealthy patterns, negativity, broken boundaries, etc.)

NOW... three other things...

I've written about my rituals for the new year ahead and how to make it EPIC. This is powerful stuff. Link below.

Please email me or comment below and let me know YOUR End-of-Year rituals and what they do for you. I'm always curious to learn more.

Email me after you do any of the rituals I've listed above, and let me know what you think of them and how they served you.

Much love,
