CURRENT BOOK
RESISTING HAPPINESS — by Matthew Kelly
Resisting Happiness explores the subtle, everyday choices that quietly pull us away from the life we actually want. With clarity and honesty, Matthew Kelly challenges the habits, distractions, and excuses that keep us stuck—often without realizing it—and shows how simple, intentional decisions can lead to deeper fulfillment, peace, and purpose. This book isn’t about perfection or self-help hype; it’s an invitation to wake up, reclaim responsibility for your life, and move toward the happiness you were created for. If you’re craving meaningful change without overwhelm, this is a powerful book to read—and an even richer conversation to experience together.
Next Book Club Meeting Date:
March 1, at 4 PM Eastern on Zoom
From My Bookshelf to Yours
This bookclub started from my love of learning and growth. I wanted to connect with fellow readers by sharing books about health and mindset to elevate lives. Now, I invite you to join the journey.
Hi, I’m Jennifer. Welcome to the Book Club!
I created this space because I believe reading books with depth and talking about them thoughtfully can genuinely change how we live, how we care for ourselves, and how we see the world.
This book club is meant to feel relaxed, encouraging, and meaningful. There’s no pressure to perform or have all the answers — just an opportunity to reflect, learn, and grow alongside others who also value living well.
Each month, we meet live on Zoom for a thoughtful discussion around a carefully selected book, focusing on key insights and real-life application.
If you enjoy personal growth, meaningful conversation, and becoming more intentional in your life, I’d love for you to join us.
